How to open a company in Thailand in 2025?
Thailand is creating increasingly attractive conditions for starting a business and attracting foreign investment. Not long ago, the minimum number of shareholders for establishing a private limited liability company was reduced from three to two. The director of the company can be of any citizenship.
In particular, to register a company in Thailand, you must complete the following steps:
- Choose a company name. You can check it yourself for compliance with existing names on the website of the Department of Business Development at https://datawarehouse.dbd.go.th/index
- Appoint at least two promoters (who can later become shareholders) and one director. The number of directors and shareholders can then be any.
- Hire a Thai lawyer or licensed accountant to prepare documents and register the company with DBD.
- Provide the necessary documents – copies of passports and contact information.
- Pay state fees and registration services and start working!
